As soon as we had the idea of building DOS, we have put sustainability at its heart and started crafting meticulously. It is a never-ending journey to minimize our footprint and become eco-friendly, yet it is our utmost responsibility to work towards that mission.
We are constantly looking for new materials and techniques to support our slow fashion initiatives.
Our first and utmost responsibility is towards the world we live in. It is our home, and we need to be conscious about it more than ever. How we care and look after our home and its resources defines the longevity of our world, otherwise we will have no home to look after it.
For that reason, we give it our best to use natural materials, such as linen, tencel and cotton. We adore the natural qualities of these materials, and the way they feel on our bodies once we wear them.
We choose materials that are durable, breathable, and highly absorbent. As DOS, we strive to partner with the local production facilities so we can craft an eco-friendly collection holistically, from the materials we use to the facilities in proximity we partner with.
Our products are being manufactured in Istanbul at a local production site which has passed external audits about its environmental impact as well as its ethical working conditions.
Our design vision is based upon 3 fundamental pillars: simplicity, timelessness, and comfort. We are passionate about the pieces that are minimal, yet stylish.
With our simplistic approach, we aim to create versatile pieces that will be complementary to each other so it will give doslovers the chance to create multiple looks that will never go out of style.
We are a strong advocate of the slow fashion movement and encourage our consumers to choose well and buy wisely. Whatever you pick from our collection, DOS guarantees that it will last you for a long time with the quality materials we use in our production.
